EDUCATION OF THE PERSON OF CULTURE: DEVELOPING TRADITION IN WORKING OUT THE ISSUE OF INTERRELATION BETWEEN CULTURE AND EDUCATION
Annotation
The article gives outline of the genesis of the issue of interrelation between culture and education in national philosophical and pedagogical thought of the XIX – beginning of the XX centuries in the modern humanities. The author reveals understanding of the essence of culture and the mechanisms of interrelation between culture and education. Special attention is paid to definition of the notion “person of culture”. The article also covers the meaning of national and spiritual grounds in inculturation of personality, one’s subject position. The author also states the role of the values of culture in education. Working out the issue of interrelation between culture and education is considered to be the evolving scientific tradition in pedagogy.Key words
