DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONALLY MEANINGFUL ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS BY MEANS OF MULTICULTURAL CONTENT OF PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION

Annotation

According to the article, creation and development of multicultural educational space is accompanied by creation of conditions for creative self-realization of the personality. The authors’ approach to creating multi-cultural content of pedagogical education in the context of the concept of personality-focused education by E.V. Bondarevskaya is presented in article. Personally meaningful activity is defined in the paper. As a result of comparative analysis of various approaches to reconstruction of the content of education, the authors work out the principles which regulate this process. The authors describe the use of educational projects as a way to stimulate independent work of students within the course content, as a form of interim assessment, as means of civil and patriotic education, as means of developing professional and personal culture, personally meaningful activity and cross-cultural communication skills of future teachers.
