COMPARATIVE RESEARCH INTO THE LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM OF REPRESENTATIVES OF HUMANITARIAN PROFESSIONS

Annotation
The paper is devoted to the strategy of a research into professional development of the personality. The article argues that within one profession a research can concern transformation of professionally important qualities or mastering professional competences at different stages of development. Studying different professions, it is necessary to compare universal professionally important qualities and personal ideas about professional activity. In the conducted research the authors analyze professional implications of representatives of humanitarian professions with the different level of self-efficiency: students-philologists and students-psychologists. As a result, it was revealed that only psychologists and philologists with low self-efficiency demonstrate distinctions in estimates of ideas about their profession whereas students with high self-efficiency, which helps to cope with difficulties, no distinctions were revealed.
