USE OF THE SCRATCH ENVIRONMENT IN MEETING REQUIREMENTS OF THE FEDERAL EDUCATIONAL STANDARD OF PRIMARY GENERAL EDUCATION

Annotation

Development of information technologies in the modern world is changing the attitude of society to education. Certain skills that will allow a person to adapt in the modern world are in high demand. According to the paper, modern educational strategies focus on the development of such qualities as active position, creativity, and subjectivity in primary school children. At primary school age, formation of logical thinking skills is quite active since the child’s brain is ready for the development of mental processes. The authors of the article describe the “Scratch” environment which lays great emphasis on project activity at primary school and compares favorably with a large number of the program environments aimed at development of logical thinking of a child.
