RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN CRIMEA (THE END OF XIX – THE FIRST HALF OF THE 20th CENTURY)

Annotation

The article presents the results of a complex historical and pedagogical research into activity of confessional educational institutions located in the territory of Crimea at the end of XIX - the first half of the 20th century. The authors describe specific features of religious educational institutions of Crimea and carry out comparative analysis of their activity. The article analyzes curricula of educational institutions belonging to various faith groups, distinguishes between their types, and defines essential differences between confessional educational institutions. On the basis of archival documents, the authors draw up generalizing tables which characterize the number of religious educational institutions of Crimea and their subordination during the studied period. The most widespread religious educational institutions in Crimea during the studied period are defined.
