Annotation

The article discovers the reasons of higher technical school crisis which are connected with its technocratic overload. The analysis of development of technical education and engineering activity in cultural and historical evolution is given. Necessity of implementation of the innovative methodological bases of the engineering education reflecting a professional variety in functioning of the modern engineer is proved. The process of humanization is understood as a source of technical education transformation into a source of professional development, as means of education and personal development.
