Annotation

Professional self-determination and identity of students, along with general professional development features, has a number of peculiarities. The crisis of professional development, resulting in students’ dissatisfaction with themselves and disappointment in the chosen profession, makes the process of professional identity development quite complicated. The author feels sure that it is possible to find a constructive way out of the crisis of professional choice with the help of construction of a student’s individual educational trajectory. Such approach allows not only to increase the quality of education, but also to provide opportunities for students to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of employers.
