EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF VOLUNTEER MOVEMENTS IN RUSSIA AT VARIOUS STAGES OF ITS DEVELOPMENT

Annotation

During long historical period volunteer movements’ development in Russia was carried out as reflecting the attitude “Help somebody next to you!” and this relation existed between person, society and the state. Models of private and public charity encouraged by the authorities were realized in the given format. At the end of 90-s XX century – beginning XXI century there is certain tendency to create a new format of attitudes including initiatives of citizens, based on principles of voluntariness and charity. According to the author, educational effect of the new type of attitudes in volunteer movement can be considered on the basis of integrative approach.
