RESEARCH INTO DEVELOPING HIGHER FEMALE AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF HISTORICAL-PEDAGOGICAL REGIONAL STUDIES

Annotation

The main purpose of the article is to reconstruct processes of developing higher female agricultural education in the Don Army of beginning XX century, basing on archival materials, sources of documentary and study of the local lore. The authors prove that these processes were caused by modernization changes in agrarian sector. The article includes some materials that were introduced into scientific domain for the first time that allows filling "blank pages" in female education history in the Don Area. The article reveals principal role of the Don society in assistance to higher female education development. The authors provide statistical data on development of the Don female educational institutions.
