Annotation

The article is devoted to considering phenomenon of teaching in Russia as corporate community. The issue under study is of topical character as today the concept “teaching” is invidiously forgotten and the term is treated in a narrow way. However, according to the authors, this term should be considered as a certain community whose defining feature is belonging to the certain kind of professional work. The article raises some questions connected with genesis of the given phenomenon, its distinctive features and spiritual background of teaching in Russia.
