SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL READINESS FOR SCHOOL STUDIES OF CHILDREN WITH GENERAL SPEECH UNDERDEVELOPMENT

Annotation

The article raises the problem of readiness for school of children with general speech underdevelopment. The review of psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem under study is provided. The author reveals difficulties of socially-psychological readiness for school which can further render negative influence on success of adaptation to new social conditions (to school) and describes possible ways of their correction dealing with children who have general speech underdevelopment. The article also includes comparative analysis of the research results received before and after carrying out correctional work. The article is intended for teachers-psychologists, teachers-logopaedists, tutors who are engaged in work with children with general speech underdevelopment.
