INFLUENCE OF CRISIS EVENTS ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPING RESOURCES OF MATRIMONY

Annotation

The article proves that, alongside with natural development of the person in marriage, catastrophic fall in resources of matrimonial relations as a result of various crisis events may take place. The author provides evidence to support the claim that modality of personal changes of family members depends on some subjective and objective factors. Crisis events refer to some events that are sufficiently unexpected, have high personal importance for each of the spouses, are rather intense in terms of emotional saturation and also influence the organization of matrimonial interaction. Negative consequences of the conflict are considered: deformation of self-perception, decrease in self-esteem, inferiority complex, steady uncertainty, refusal to take initiative, indifference, self-accusation, uneasiness.
