RUSSIAN TRADITIONS AND EXPERIENCE OF SPIRITUALLY-MORAL EDUCATION IN TRANS-DNIESTER REGION

Annotation

The authors of the article raise the questions of understanding and preserving the historical and cultural heritage and religion as well as of transferring them to the younger generation in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. At the present stage of globalization and crisis of cultural and moral values, Orthodoxy allows Trans-Dniester Region to preserve integrity, finding the true statehood in traditions of the Russian culture. According to the authors, combined efforts of church and representatives of educational system, culture and science make it possible to teach children and youth to perceive adequately and appreciate those spiritual and moral values which were transferred by our ancestors from generation to generation. The authors share experience of spiritually-moral education of student youth in Dniesterian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko.
