Annotation

To raise attractiveness of Russian educational institutions for foreign students is one of the challenges that Russian higher education faces today. According to the author of the article, it demands modernization of educational process. From the positions of ethno-focused and intercultural approaches, the author proves the need to create complex ethno-focused description of foreign students for linguo-didactic purposes. The author defines the leading principles of such description, offers the vision of its content and possible prospects of use.
