MEDIALITERACY OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AS THE CONDITION FOR THEIR RESISTANCE TO SCREEN VIOLENCE

Annotation

The article deals with the complex of problems connected with the way children of senior preschool age uncontrollably watch cartoons. The author provides definition and explains the concept “media literacy”, reveals the ways of media literacy development as a result of pedagogical support of watching cartoons. The presented results of research are intended for teachers of preschool educational establishments, child-minders, students of pedagogical institutions and parents.
