DEVELOPING ECOLOGICAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF STUDENTS-ECOLOGISTS: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Annotation

The article gives practical recommendations on developing ecological consciousness of future engineers-ecologists during studying discipline “Ecology”. They are based on increasing students’ awareness of the place of a human in the triad of relations: “biosphere - human - society”. The authors pay special attention to work of students in the field of ecological monitoring in the forms of ecological excursions, laboratory work, writing of problem essays with subsequent discussions, participation in student scientific organizations. The article proves it relevant to include field practice into the curriculum of the first year student courses.
