DIDACTIC TOOLKIT OF OVERCOMING CULTURE-CAUSED LINGUISTIC INTERFERENCES IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES TO STUDENTS OF ENGINEERING FIELD

Annotation

The didactic toolkit, supported by the Internet-resource for independent work of students of engineering field in learning foreign languages, is aimed at overcoming culture-caused linguistic interference which leads to mistakes in speech. The Internet-resource includes basic information on the British Commonwealth of Nations and five leading English-speaking countries, stated in the course “English-speaking World in Photos”; check tests (quizzes) and control tests; tasks on regional geography “Guide to the EnglishSpeaking World” and team competitions that allow to build methodically compete system of class and out-of-class activities for realization of the objectives in view.
