ORIGIN OF SOCIALLY-PEDAGOGICAL WORK IN BELARUS

Annotation

The article deals with preconditions and first steps of development of social teaching in Belarus. Results of experiment on creation of socially-pedagogical centers at schools which took place in the Republic in the 1980s are analyzed. The author describes certain social effect of activity of a social teacher in the open educational space of school. The author gives an account of activity of methodical associations of social teachers. The model of the center of socially-pedagogical work of school is presented. The article also covers experience of Belarusian higher schools in preparation of social teachers and scientific and methodical support of their professional work.
