ACQUISITION OF TRADITIONAL VALUES BY YOUTH VIA ARTISTIC CULTURE OF COSSACKS

Annotation

The article raises the problem of developing traditional values in youth by means of artistic (including musical) cultures of Cossacks. The author presents pedagogical model which realizes modern requirements of the State Federal Standard in general education. The offered model is aimed at achievement of the purpose of ethno-cultural education - acquisition by the rising generation of national, cultural traditions which embody the cultural wealth and high morals of the ethnos, their comprehension and formation on their basis of cultural identity. The author touches upon specific features of educational establishments (the Cossack cadet component of education is being worked out) which share cultural traditions of Cossacks (including their regional aspects). The cultural core of youth education and nurturing of the offered model makes traditional values of Cossacks be reflected in the artistic culture.
