DEVELOPING NATURAL SCIENCES COMPETENCE OF MENTALLY RETARDED PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN TERMS OF COMPETENCE-FOCUSED EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Annotation

The article analyzes competences of mentally retarded pupils according to the Concept of Special Federal State Educational Standard for physically challenged children. The author defines natural sciences competence of primary school children with mental pathologies, its levels in the given category of pupils. The article deals with the questions of organization of competence-focused educational environment as the necessary conditions for formation of natural science competence of pupils of elementary grades with retarded intellectual development (exemplified by creation of spatially-subject content of the competence-focused educational environment).
