DEVELOPING COMPETENCES OF COLLEGE STUDENTS DURING INDIVIDUAL WORK

Annotation

The article deals with the problems of using independent work for developing college students’ competences. Possible forms of work and activity types are characterized. It is proved that most effective forms of individual homework include: projects, research technologies (for many technical specialties - design projects) and portfolios (only if personal findings prevail) as well as information technologies which allow to organize independent work productively, to ensure relevant tasks results, search for materials, etc. In individual class work traditional kinds of tasks can be used - solving problems, practical and laboratory works. For small group work (2-3 persons), case-studies, research, design, practical tasks are appropriate.
