A NEW DIRECTION IN THE THEORY OF TESTS

Annotation

The internal contradictory of Rasch and Birnbaum model, widely used in Item Response Theory, is shown. The main reason of parametric tests models inconsistence on the whole is pointed out. The new tests model is supposed. The model is based on assumption that one can consider solving of test items as time-homogenous stochastic process. The procedure of estimating of test scores is described.
