Annotation

The article is determinated to cover basic tendencies of investigating and describing the syntactical units in the current linguistics. The authors have attempted to synthesize the diversity of the existing points of view on the problem with the aim to analyse uncontradictorily the syntactical theories in the process of the Russian language teaching in Higher school.
