Annotation

The analysis of new socioeconomic and cultural realia shows a greater demand for correspondence learning facilities at that the modern stage of higher education development in Russia. The importance of the professional training by correspondence and its role in dynamic development of the national economy proves that the analysis of the system evolution in the context of market reforms is topical, both, from theoretical and practical points of view. In the new society appreciating deep knowledge of the subject there is a constantly increasing demand for specialists aware of the modern scientific achievements, which explains the need for their continuous education. The authors believe that distance learning is a modern concept of such education and its quality is determined by the market requirements and the students’ satisfaction by the knowledge they gain.
