Annotation

The analysis of the concept of continuous education in France is carried out in the article. The French continuous education has undergone certain modifications in the course of its historical development. Initially it was considered education for adults, then continuous education including professional training. At present the concept «lifelong learning» is used more often in comparison with the term «continuous education».
