Annotation

The article reflects the essence of professional competence of the teacher on the basis of the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the structure of professional competence and its sub-structures. The author differentiates professional, communicative, personal, psychological competences. The components of professional competence of the teacher are considered.
