TOLERANCE AS PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF MEDICAL STUDENTS

Annotation

The article looks at the tolerance category through the prism of future doctors’ vocational training and on the basis of the value, culturological and competent approaches. Taking into account its deontological character the author comes to understanding of the essence of tolerance as a future doctor’s professional competence. Empiric research allows the author to solve the problem of tolerance development as a professional medical university students’ competence. Revealing the basic instrumental and terminal values vital for the students the author proves that students gain tolerance as a professional competence regarding their values, personal identification, beliefs and self-perception (“I – concept”).
