PROSPECTS OF REENGINEERING OF PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION IN SOUTHERN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY

Annotation

The article defines reengineering of pedagogical education which is a completely new concept of projecting work. It is not based on hierarchical vertical management of functions and labor distribution, but on horizontal processes of creating value for the consumer, i.e. a student. At the same time, reengineering does not mean refusing from functional departments since every function stands for accumulation of knowledge and high competences crucial for solving problems at any stage. The authors state the mission of a structural unit responsible for pedagogical education in Southern Federal University: high quality undergraduate, Master’s and postgraduate courses as well as the system of professional refresher courses and further training of educators able to plan their professional activity in various socio-cultural situations, to have good problem-solving skills, to find ways of solving emerging problems, to work out the appropriate strategy of professional thinking, conduct and activi
