PERSONAL COMPONENTS OF THE CONTENT OF THE CONCEPT “AUTONOMY AS THE STRATEGY OF SELF-CONTROL IN ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES”

Annotation

The article argues that there is certain distance in psychological and pedagogical elaboration of the content of the concept “autonomy”. In psychology, autonomy is considered in the context of voluntary self-control and refers to the style of self-control in academic activities which outlines necessary personal features of students for creation and estimation of academic activities. In pedagogical researches, there is no accurate definition of autonomy. According to the author, autonomy is synonymous to the subjective characteristic, autonomous position, competence, etc. Motivational and meaningful components emphasized in pedagogical researches become the general platform of consolidation in self-control of academic activities. It enables to treat autonomy as the strategy of self-control in academic activities.
