TO THE ISSUE OF MODERN UNDERSTANDING OF THE PHENOMENON OF SENSE

Annotation

The article covers modern views on the issue of sense. Semantic structures form the center of value, semantic and motivational spheres of the personality that determine activity. The authors claim that there is no uniform definition of this wide category in discourses of various disciplines which use the concept “sense”. In all the variety of researches, the authors differentiate three main directions in studying of the phenomenon of sense: linguistic, philosophical and psychological. This way the authors prove that the concept of sense can be considered an interdisciplinary construct.
