DYNAMICS OF DEVELOPING CIVIL IDENTITY OF STUDENT YOUTH OF KARACHAY-CHERKESSIA

Annotation

The article covers and analyzes the content of civil identity. The author describes the main components of civil identity of youth, such as: cognitive, emotive, connotational, activity, ethnocultural and value-based. The paper also covers the structure of the identity of youth, its features, criteria, form and specific aspects of manifestation. The place and role of each component of the personality in its complete structure are described. The author emphasizes the role of ethnic identity and ethnocultural values in development of civil identity. Such social and psychological determinants of civil identity of student youth of Karachay-Cherkessia as ethnocultural values and the created ethnic identity of ethnophors. The paper also deals with the case study findings and describes the dynamics of development of civil identity of student youth after implementation of the experimental program of a special course.
