SOCIAL SITUATION AS THE CONDITION OF PATRIOTISM DEVELOPMENT TO A NATIVE LAND OF A PRESCHOOL CHILD

Annotation

This article analyzes theoretical approaches to the terms “situation”, “social situation”. The authors define social situation of a preschool child development as a specially organized social space where a child can discover the values of surrounding reality, express a personal attitude towards people, events, actions. Social situation is one of the conditions for developing patriotic attitude to the native land of preschoolers. The content of the elaborated social situations makes children familiar with the history of Rostov Region, Cossacks’ life on the river Don, Cossacks’ signs and symbols, Don Cossacks’ villages, Cossacks’ labor in their native land as well as famous writers, artists, musicians of Rostov Region.
