TEENAGERS’ IDEAS ABOUT A FAMILY IN MODERN SPAIN AND RUSSIA

Annotation

The article raises the issue of adequacy of teenagers’ ideas about family life in Spain and Russia. The author describes the commonly accepted vision of a family as elementary, basic component in the hierarchical structure of society which predetermines its safety, stability and sustainable development. The paper provides the review and comparative analysis of research results in both countries. Then the author shares results of her research which shows that though ideas about a family can be traced at teenage period, they have implicit nature and are not included in the general system of teenagers’ ideas about the world. Modern family no longer carries out the role of reproduction and ensuring adequacy of implication about family life of children and teenagers and consequently at younger generation in general. In this respect, the paper provides overview of cultural, social and historical preconditions which lay informational background of these ideas and render significant influence
