TEACHER-TRAINING APPROACH AS THE FACTOR OF DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF INTENDING FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Annotation

Dynamically developing contemporary society demands expanded professional scopes which make it possible for intending teachers to specialize in several spheres of professional activity. This approach assumes the combination of two directions of professional activity: gaining good competence in the subject domain and general pedagogical education. Implementation of this approach requires certain ways of arranging academic process. The key method of developing professional competence in pedagogical education is the teacher-training approach which presupposes the use of all kinds of communicative activities, interactive forms of group and pair work, collaborative activities, project-based learning, role-plays and communication games.
