EFFECTIVE USE OF GRAPHICAL MEANS OF INFORMATION VISUALIZATION IN THE ACADEMIC PROCESS
Annotation
The article describes the graphical means used for visualization of information. The author emphasizes their role and effectiveness in education. The researcher analyzes the concept “visualization” and provides her own interpretation to this notion. According to the paper, the concept “visualization” in science has several meanings, i.e. epistemological, semiotic, cultural, aesthetic, psychological, technical and informational. Visualization in the article is defined as a psychological-pedagogical category in the context of visual perception. The article provides classification of graphic means of information visualization that help to solve basic problems which face higher education nowadays.Key words
