TASK-BASED APPROACH TO DEVELOPMENT OF GOAL-SETTING SKILL AS A RESOURCE OF INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL OF TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS

Annotation

Based on the example of physical chemistry course, the author describes a complete, integral, hierarchical system of tasks aimed at the development of goal-setting skill as a component of general cultural competence and resource of innovative potential of students. The paper provides five requirements to its content. As for the backbone factor, the author states differentiation of tasks to three levels according to the use of certain abilities and skills, such as: detection of contradictions, stating the purpose or generating the purpose, its study, acceptance, reflection on it, and groups of skills which deal with goal-setting. According to the paper, tasks of the third level which include complex problems and contextualized tasks, their differentiation to levels of complexity promote innovative potential of students of a technical college. The use of the offered system is considered to be an application of task-based approach which helps to realize this potential.
