TRANSFORMATION OF METHODOLOGY FIELD IN THE SPHERE OF SCIENCES ABOUT EDUCATION

Annotation

The article is devoted to methodology issues in the sphere of sciences about education which can’t be comprehended and reduced to such traditional concepts, as “methodological approach”, “methodological concept” or “methodological position”. According to the paper, the need for this critical judgment is connected with a number of reasons, many of which are beyond pedagogical scope. Nowadays, the main claims to national dissertation researches in the sphere of education concern insufficient or inaccurate methodological grounds. Relying on the concept “methodology field”, the author analyzes changes of methodological implications in the sphere of sciences about education through history from the USSR to modern times. Three periods of transformations of the field of educational research are distinguished: the 1930–1950s (the era of emergence of the academic field in education); the 1960–1980s (processes of shaping methodological grounds); education methodology at the turn of the 20th and
