SOCIOCULTURAL ASPECTS OF ADOPTING GENDER APPROACH IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF INTERNATIONAL TYPE (CASE STUDY OF MGIMO)

Annotation

Gender approach is interpreted as a factor of improvement of professional training of specialists in foreign affairs in new sociocultural conditions. The paper offers the definition of gender as a sociocultural concept. The author of the article shares experience of using gender approach at MGIMO, being an example of a modern educational organization. The paper also deals with historical aspects of the use of gender approach in studies and development of professional training of specialists in foreign affairs. According to the article, the need for enrichment of education content is proved by the gender component.
