The technology of familiarizing children of preschool age with the history of our homeland

Annotation
The article describes the theoretical and methodological grounds of patriotic education of preschool children, the regulatory framework and the content of a workbook for preschoolers. “Traveling” through the pages of the workbook, the children learn about the treacherous attack of the Nazis, a feat of defenders of the Brest Fortress, the difficulties of their life in the Siege, the tragedy of a small Belarusian village – Khatyn, the partisan movement, labor workers in the rear, the young heroes of the war, the delight of long-awaited victory, Hero Cities and other events of the Great Patriotic War.Key words
