Annotation

The article deals with the problem of inclusion of physically challenged pupils into the system of physical education at secondary comprehensive schools. The author analyzes the experience of schools in Great Britain and researches undertaken by scientists into the idea of compliance of inclusive education and the principles of its realization. So, for example, experience and opinions of teachers of physical culture that team games and a number of individual exercises do not suit an inclusive format of education is given in the article. The author claims the need to differentiate between the concepts “inclusion” and “integration” in the policy of inclusive education and methods of teaching physical culture at comprehensive schools. Proceeding from the analysis of foreign experience, the author gives outline to the problems that inclusive education in Russia faces.
