DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES OF STUDENTS IN THE MASTER’S PROGRAMME “LOGOPEDIC EDUCATION” IN THE COURSE OF ON-THE-JOB TRAINING IN ORGANIZATIONS FOR CHILDREN WITH SPEECH DISORDERS

Annotation

The article raises the issue of professional training of Master’s degree students in the field of speech pathology. The author dwells on professional competences of future masters that study in the programme “Logopedic Education” in the course of on-the-job practice in preschool educational organizations for children with speech disorders. The paper claims that modern training of a highly professional speech specialist means combination of fundamental professional knowledge and creative thinking in practical activities, ability to render correctional help to children with various forms of speech frustration and to their families as well as personal self-development and self-expression.
