SELF-ORGANIZATION OF JUNIOR STUDENTS OF A PEDAGOGICAL HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION AS THE FACTOR OF TRANSFORMATION OF THEIR ACTIVITY IN STUDIES AND EXTRA-CURRICULAR WORK

Annotation

From the positions of personality-focused and activity-based approach, the article argues the need to introduce a special course that fosters self-organization of junior students in order to help them organize their own life in the university space. The goal can be achieved, on the one hand, by minimizing waste of time, on the other hand, by engaging future teachers in active, productive educational activities and diverse, cultural leisure. As a result, due to optimization of students’ day schedule and organization of their academic work, conditions are created for self-organization of junior students at a pedagogical university. These refer to primary skills of selfmanagement. The paper introduces the specially tailored course “Self-organization of junior students in social and educational environment of the university”.
