MOTIVATION OF TEACHERS’ LABOUR AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE PROBLEM OF THE HEAD OF AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Annotation

In the article motivation of a teacher’s work as an actual administrative problem is considered. The novelty of the presented work is in specification of the concepts «stimulus» and «motive» in the context of pedagogical activity. Such significant for a teacher motives, as self-esteem, self-realization, need for approval, need for a feedback, need for success achievement, passion and creativeness are explained. In the article special attention is paid to the problem of stimulating professional teacher’s work as a means of its quality improvement. Its practical significance is in elaborating recommendations for administrators on school management considering the stimulation of teacher’s work on the basis of theoretical analysis of the works of significant scientists – V.V. Vilyunas, A.A. Krylov, G.S. Mikhailova, N.I. Schevandrina.
