REVEALING THE LEVEL OF ARTISTIC AND CREATIVE ABILITIES OF SCHOOL PUPILS IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES DURING ARTISTIC PROCESSING OF MATERIALS

Annotation

The article raises the issue of developing artistic and creative abilities of school pupils in extracurricular activities. School club is one of the forms of extracurricular activities of pupils according to the Russian Federal State Educational Standard. The author claims that making teenagers engaged in creative activity, aimed at making objects of different types as part of the subject “Technology or Arts and Crafts”, guarantees development of their artistic and creative abilities. These abilities and skills include the processes of personality development, formation of artistic taste, ability to create artistic objects by hand. The levels of development of artistic and creative abilities of teenagers in the subject “Artistic Processing of Materials” are experimentally proved. The author comes to the conclusion about the relevance of the problem under study.
