BASICS OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Annotation

The author of article emphasizes that effectiveness of professional communication in higher educational institutions which is impossible without intensive interaction of teachers with colleagues, students and administrative staff requires from a teacher a skill to come into contacts and exchange professional information. Analyzing the terms “communication” and “interaction”, the author reminds of two existing methodological approaches to their judgment. Effective professional communication of teachers at higher education institutions, in her opinion, represents the type of communication when teachers are united by common professional values, interests, socially important joint activities which are based on communicative competences covered in the paper in detail. According to the author, teacher’s values, representing the whole complex of the targets determined by preferences and proceeding from it behavioral models, are of special importance.
