Annotation

The article is devoted to a relevant for modern pedagogical science problem -studying of the role of teaching and humanitarian subjects in shaping the culture of international communication of pupils at a high comprehensive school. The author emphasizes importance of developing the culture of international communication for the Russian school, considers some specific aspects of teaching history and social sciences and draws conclusions about the need for certain adjustments in the curriculum.
