COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH TO DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE IDENTITY OF A FUTURE EXPERT

Annotation

The article proves the need to develop innovative identity of a future expert as a requirement for fast adaptation to the changing world. The author defines innovative identity of a university graduate, its key features. The concept “innovation of a personality” is compared to the term “methodological competence of future expert”. The author dwells on the modern tasks of higher school which meet latest requirements. Competence-based approach is considered as the methodological background for innovative identity of future experts. Possibilities of competence-based approach in theoretical and practical aspects of training university graduates are specified in the paper. The paper covers the key principles of effective strategy for developing meta-properties of future experts which act as indicators of innovative potential of competence-based approach. The openness of the latter to numerous innovative developments in education is emphasized.
