REFLECTION AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF COLLEGE STUDENTS

Annotation

The article raises the problem of the influence of reflection on professional competence of college students. The relevance of the given research is proved by increased importance of reflection in the conditions of modernization of professional education. New federal state educational standards are based on competence-based approach which purpose is to ensure quality of vocational training of an expert. In situation like that formation of professional competence of qualified professionals has to result from vocational training. In this regard, the authors put forward the problem of conceptualization of reflection as a psychological factor of professional competence development. The purpose of the paper is to study the influence of reflection on professional competence of college students. The data of the carried out experiment revealed by the analysis of students’ progress in special disciplines are stated.
