PROBLEMS OF QUALITY OF TRAINING/RETRAINING OF MANAGERIAL STAFF OF MUNICIPAL SPORTS FACILITIES AND WAYS OF THEIR OPTIMIZATION TO MODERN REALITIES

Annotation

The article raises the problem of the existing contradiction between the need to create conditions for attracting wide groups of population to regular physical activities and the lack of qualified personnel who know and possess new technologies of sport management and marketing that can solve this problem. The author makes a number of suggestions how to solve this problem by improving the quality of education in the courses of professional development / retraining of the leaders of municipal sports facilities and sports organizations, by involving young teachers with academic degree who have theoretical and practical experience in the educational process, who must be selected and prepared from students capable of scientific activity. From the author’s point of view, this approach will be effective if young candidates of sciences are encouraged to work at the departments of sports management and get paid decent wages.
