POTENTIAL OF HUMANITIES FOR TEACHING STUDENTS TOLERANCE

Annotation

This article deals with the problem of using the educational potential of humanitarian subjects for developing students’ tolerance. The author analyses such notions as “humanitarian education”, “context of education”, “legal education”, “tolerance”, “tolerance development” and underlines the importance of teachers’ creative approach to law disciplines enabling them to use its educational potential for developing students’ tolerance. The article generalizes the educational experience of the pilot UNESCO school in developing tolerance taking into account multi-cultural, interdisciplinary and multi-ethnic character and practical orientation.
